Current Vacancy
Sweeper Driver
We’re looking for a dedicated Sweeper Driver to join our team, helping maintain clean, safe and tidy construction sites, roads, car parks and commercial premises across the North West.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating sweeper vehicles and supporting high standards of cleanliness, safety and service across a range of sites and premises.
This role requires a proactive approach, strong work ethic and experience in commercial driving. Experience with sweeper vehicles is preferred, but full training can be provided.
Class 2 licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate a sweeper vehicle to carry out cleaning tasks.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness across construction sites, car parks and roads.
- Follow scheduled routes accurately and meet project deadlines.
- Observe all safety protocols during vehicle operation and cleaning work.
- Report vehicle or equipment issues promptly to management.
- Liaise with the office internally and build good relationships with site managers and customers.
Skills & Experience
- Experience driving a sweeper wagon preferred, or at least a Class 2 vehicle.
- Good understanding of route planning and time management.
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently on assigned routes.
- Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record.
